Purchased a dead Samsung tab a sm-t350 at restaurant going out of business. After charging, it booted up with 6.0.1 and a proprietary app for the food ordering and VMware that greys out factory reset, among other functions. Hard reset is also blocked by “mdm won’t allow reset”. Flashing new rom 6.0.1 and 7.0.1 using Odin works but does not remove the proprietary app or VMware. With my limited knowledge of Android, it would appear that the app and VMware are somewhere in the boot partition(s). How would the partitions be restored to factory default and this proprietary software removed? Would loading new PIT file and rom for a sm-t350 via Odin be the route to go? Thanks for any suggestion anyone might have to offer.
