Why is my front camera on selfie mode red?

Whenever I'm going to take a selfie my camera is red. The pictures even come out red. Even my Snapchat selfie. I have blu phone

Welcome to Android Central! Which Blu phone? What do you mean the camera is red? The lens itself actually has a red color to it?

Does this also happen in Safe Mode? How to turn on safe mode on Blu Studio 5.0

Are you sure there's no little piece of plastic covering the front camera lens? You're supposed to take that off before you start using the phone.

Check the white balance in the camera app. If it's set to fluorescent and you're using incandescent lighting, you're get a yellowish-reddish cast over everything.

If it's neither of those, your front camera module could be bad.
