do i need a special adapter to charge my phone in the car

i have a alcatel one touch phone. do i need a special cord to charge from cigarette car socket or will any work

If you're asking if there are cables designed specifically for charging from the car, no. The same cables you'd get/use to charge at home will work in the car, the only thing that changes is the adapter on the opposite end as it needs to work in the 12V socket.
