The best thing to do is power it off, and how you do that depends on which phone it is (Power+Volume Down for about 20 seconds may work), leave it off for about a minute, then turn it back on. If it's just a hung piece of hardware, that will reset it.

If the screen itself, or the drivers for the screen (on the motherboard) got damaged, then the damaged parts will have to be replaced (screen or motherboard).

Why the motherboard? Everythings works except for the screen touch. Home button key and volume rockers is snappy but it just the screen

Could have gotten too hot. Did it come back up when it cooled off?

No, I dont know what happened to my phone. Can it still be repaired without replacing any components? I still thought that the app itself crashes the phone

Does it persist in Safe Mode? https://www.hardreset.info/devices/h...e-2/safe-mode/

If you boot the device into Safe Mode, does the screen remain unresponsive? This is a troubleshooting step to see if some app you installed is causing the problem.

Yes the phone remained unresponsive. What is the best thing to do?

Then the screen is likely faulty and needs to be replaced. Bring it to a repair shop.

But there were no significant physical damage to the phone itself. Why does this kind of screen problems occur?

Because parts can fail? This is why they offer warranties on devices - parts fail, production is not perfect. What is the aversion to replacing the screen? How old is the device, is it still covered by warranty?

Push a component, like a screen driver, past its ability and it burns out (meaning a new motherboard - shops don't do board-level repairs any more, that takes real technicians). Or push the screen too hard and some electronics in the screen goes. But the fingerprint sensor going also seems to indicate that something happened on the motherboard.

It's not possible to diagnose broken parts online like this - the phone has to go into a repair shop for diagnosis.

The possibility of a replacement? If you're sending it for repair out of pocket, 0% as they will perform the requested repair. If it's warranty, it's a possibility the phone will be replaced as a whole unit.

Yeah it's still on warranty, there are only minor scratches on the screen, can it be still covered by the warranty

I doubt minor scratches on the screen would void the warranty. If there's any evidence of impact (like bigger scratches or scuffs along the edges or corners of the phone), though, that might increase the risk of rejection.

A minor scratch only on the screen, so the warranty will cover all the damage on the phone, but what if it is rejected, does the replacement of the screen something
    costy?

Screen replacement can range from $100 to $250 at 3rd party repair shops in the US, depending on the phone and the shop. I'm sure Huawei would notify you first if they determine the issue isn't covered by warranty.

The only thing that would void the warranty on the screen is something that could have damaged the screen. A slight scratch wouldn't. (Except for Samsung - they seem to have a policy that nothing is ever covered by the warranty. I've had better luck with carriers replacing Samsung phones.)
