Re-setting Sync didn't help

[Android Central Question]

I have re-started and powered on/off my Android phone. I have also checked my gmail account in the account settings and it is "on" to sync. But my gmail and Yahoo emails have not updated since 2 days ago. How do I force it to sync?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which email app are you using? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?
