Android Central Question

When I'm texting and I include emojis I get a message saying it may not show on recipients device because it is corrupt. I've rest it, I've looked everywhere to change the input mode to automatic and can't find that option anywhere!

Welcome to Android Central! Are they the native emojis, or are you using a 3rd party keyboard? Do other people tell you they're not getting the emojis?

And remember, "emojis" are just a sequence of text, like : and ) on this site will give you a smiling Andy. The recipient has to be able to display the same emoji set that you're sending, or a red angry face may appear to the recipient as a face that's laughing hilariously.

Apple started the whole thing, but all iPhones use the same emoji set. Android and Windows (if there are still any left) phones have different sets for different apps (usually the keyboard app). Use different sets and you send one emoji, the recipient gets a different one.
