Digitizer Replacement DiY

Is there any possible way to use an older model digitizer on a newer model phone. For example I have a working digitizer for a galaxy s5 but I need to replace the digitizer and screen for my s7 edge. I don’t really wanna pay the bundle of money that most cost online. Just wondering any advice Is appreciated

No. The digitizer is part of the front glass, the front glass on the 2 devices is different. On top of that - the connections internally will likely be different and the phone won't know what to do with the different hardware.
