Weak or no signal

[Android Central Question]

My phone has been losing signal the past couple days. Tried restarting it which worked a couple times, but now the signal is down into two bars or one, if it's there at all,which it's usually not, and it won't let me send texts anymore.
Not 100% sure what kind it is, the back says Alcatel OneTouch. Model # is A460G.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about cell signal? Which carrier are you on? Have you asked them if there's a problem with the network in your area? It's possible there might be an outage in your vicinity.
