Phone wont turn on

Trying to reset after it saying no connection after it was up dating

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What's its status right now -- does anything happen at all when you try to power it on?

If it was updating over the air and lost connection, about the only hope if you can't get it to whatever mode the particular phone needs to flash a ROM is to bring it to your carrier and ask if they can flash just the update (not the whole ROM - unless everything is backed up [which it should be], because a full ROM-flash wipes the phone.)
