Android Central Question

On my galaxy s6 which is only about 2 months old, whenever I use a dark wallpaper on the home screen a strange ghost bar appears at the top as if it had light bleed. However, as soon as I change my wallpaper to something lighter or view the same dark wallpaper in the photos app, the light bleed is gone. Why is the happening and how can I fix it? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like burn-in. Does it show up in a screen capture? If you don't see that in the screenshot (viewed on a different device, like your computer), then it's burn-in. There's not much you can do about that.

It could also be light leak from the LED layer, just at the top of the screen. But, as you say, there's not much that can be done about it without replacing the screen. (Light leak won't show on a screen capture either, unfortunately.)
