    Just learning that there's a different flavor of OS coming out that's not Android, or a customized version of Android ROM, and I'm curious if anyone here has tried it yet.

    There are actually quite a few devices that it appears to run on, including the Galaxy S7/Edge, and I'm always open to trying to extend the life of my devices as long as possible...

    First, it's based on ISP 7.0 - that's 2 steps back. Second, my phone isn't on the list.

    I think I'll wait a year and see if they're still around.
