I updated my 2017 Samsung Chromebook Plus to the latest version of Chrome tonight. I then put it in tablet mode and locked rotation to portrait. When I was done. I unlocked it, set it to auto rotate to horizontal, and flipped it back around to laptop. As soon as the screen reached 90° it went back to locked in portrait mode and would not come back to landscape (nor would the rotate button show up in the tray) unless I flipped it around to tablet again. This is repeatable every time, even after multiple restarts. It makes the Chromebook useless as a laptop and I'm guessing something in the update broke the rotate functionality.

Is my only option to reset to factory? Is this happening to anyone else who got the update?

Nevermind. I powerwashed it and it seems to be fine, now.
