My LG ThinQ is altering my photos in messenger

[Android Central Question]

When I share photos only the upper left corner of the photo is visible, but on my end I see the whole photo. Also I'm seeing double messages. My message will appear on my screen twice, but sends once. With the photos I see one copy normal and the other copy zoomed in on, but my recipients only get the zoomed copy.

I have checked under camera, messenger and photos to find any settings for how pictures are shared without any luck.
