Is there an app to sniff profiles of devices on a network ?

As I'm new to pen-testing and still learning I wanted to sniff profiles of devices just just like using "ettercap" using an android phone. You people might say "Well than just use ettercap" but I wanted to use my android devices in some places where pulling out an laptop might not be a good call. That is the app should just tell me the name of of device like "Mark-inspiron-5558" along with its IP nothing else.
