Android Central Question

Do all GSM unlocked Galaxy S6 models work equally well with T-Mobile MVNOs? For example, are the models SM-G920A, SM-G920T, SM-G920F, and SM-G920I fully compatible with T-Mobile MVNOs in the United States?

Thank you for your help!

The T definitely will (it's designed for TMO), the A probably will (my N900A did just fine, and is still doing just fine). The F probably won't. The I (LATAM, Singapore, India, Australia, New Zealand) also probably won't.

Unlocked doesn't mean "will work everywhere", it just means "won't reject a SIM from a different carrier". The radios still have to be able to handle the carrier you want to use it with so, if you have the choice, and want to use it with TMobile, get a 920T and you'll be sure it has the radios for TMobile. (MVNO is a business choice, the phone doesn't know the difference - it means you're paying someone other than TMobile. They're paying TMobile.)
