    Which phone?
    Which version of android?
    Which carrier?

1969-12-31 is the "zero" date 1970-01-01 adjusted for your western time zone. This usually happens when a file has not been assigned a creation or modification date, most common during an OS install.

Similarly for 2008-12-31 and 2009-01-01. However, nothing of significance comes to mind for what Jan 1 2009 would be.

There should be very few files at the root of your storage, but there may be lots of folders.
