Today, my Moto g5Plus stopped my cellular service because I had exceeded the Data Usage Limit set on the phone of 2 G while my carrier plan has a much higher limit. I went to setting and turned of the Data Saver, rebooted but still got the Emergency calls only.

I have tried changing the data saver limit from 2 G to 100 G and still cannot get the phone to connect to cellular service.

I put it in Airplane mode. Then took it off. I turned on WiFi, then turned it off and turned on Cellular data.

I am about to throw this phone away.

Have you tried pulling the sim out and reloading it?
