My contacts are blocked

All my contacs are blocked by this message.please help.the pop up says" you have disabled a required permission "

Welcome to Android Central! Which app are you using when you see this message? Go to Settings>Apps, select that app, then Permissions, then see which permissions are turned on. Chances are that you have to make sure permission for Contacts and Storage are turned on.
