I have I.Am Buttons Earphones, which i previously used on my google pixel. If i adjusted the volume on my bluetooth headphones, (without having to fiddle with any settings) it would adjust on my phone. I.E. they shared the same volume control.

Last week i bought the huawei made 20 pro. On this device, with the same earphones it seems the volume controls are separate. If my earphones are on max, there will be no sound if my phone is on minimum, and vice versa. Is there any way around this? to have a common control like on the pixel before ?

Your description of your current controls sounds normal for non wired bt headset. Personally, I need to turn up the media volume to max, then I have full volume range on the headset.
