Why does my new screen have a burned image???

I dropped my A5 for the last time a few weeks ago, the screen finally broke!! so I brought it in to a repair place, cost me 185 to get a new screen. When I got home I noticed a light image of my camera button burned into the screen!!!! Now, before the repairs I never had a burned image, just a cracked screen. Now I have a burned image. I brought it back, and the repair guy doesn't know what to do about it, he told me that he tried another screen but it had the same burned image. Now is he lying to me or is this possible? He's had my phone now for 4 days, and they are closed today. Argh!!!!

I'd ask to watch him while he replaces the screen to verify he tried a different one and wasn't just taking an extended break while your phone was left untouched on the counter. A new screen would definitely not have burn in on it from the start. So either it's a factory screw up, or he put in a used screen and is charging you the new price. Sounds kinda shady to me.
