What happens when you dont send the trade in device to samsung?

I traded my tab s2 to tab s4 so now what if i dont send it, what will happen if i dont send it the traded tab s2 to them.

If you received the credit in the form of an instant discount - they will probably charge you for the difference in the cost.
If the discount/rebate was pending arrival of the old device - probably nothing.
