Why does my Moto e5 screen not light up on startup mode

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying the screen doesn't turn on at all, even though you hear sounds or feel vibrations from the phone? In that case, the screen has probably failed. Bring it to a repair shop, or contact Lenovo if it's still under warranty.
