How do I fix my sound on the earpeice?

I can only hear when I have my speaker on.. I hear it ring.. have to put speaker on

Welcome to Android Central! The earpiece speaker is probably faulty. Try booting the phone into Safe Mode -- if the problem persists, then contact the manufacturer (if it's still under warranty) or bring it to a repair shop.
