Lockscreen problems

So i have an S9. Had it for a few months now. And just recently started getting this problem. I tried the settings or maybe im missing something. But when i get a notification my phone lights up with the pattern already up. So i have to hit the back button to see what the notification was. Also this happens when i just hit the power button. It brings me striaght to the pattern instead of my lockscreen with my clock and notifications. Its actually really annoying. Also i have a fingerprint and pattern if that helps on any way. Thanks
