How do I accomplish these two things at the same time:

    1. Don't display any messages on the lock screen.
    2. Don't display the stupid "contents hidden"

If you set messages on the home screen to not display sensitive information, they instead display unbelievably display "contents hidden." This 100% defeats the point of this privacy setting. Privacy means don't display anything. If I want my messages hidden I clearly don't want that fact broadcasted to anyone who looks at my phone. Is there any way to fix this bug?

If a blank message is displayed, or a card with "Text Message", everyone knows that you have a text message, whether it says "contents hidden: or not. It's difficult to send a blank text message, and not many people would do it.

As far as displaying notifications on the lock screen, it's in Settings, either for the phone or for the app, but where depends on the phone, the version of Android and, if it's in the app, which app and what version. Probably Settings > Security > Lock Screen > Lock screen preferences.
