I recently uninstalled Asphalt 8 from my Samsung Galaxy Prime after playing it for almost a year. The idea was to then install a game of similar size. After uninstalling Asphalt 8 however no storage space was freed up. How can I fix this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Use a file manager app and look through your data directories for any large .obb files related to the game. Or install DiskUsage to look for large files.

Hi I installed DiskUsage like you suggested and found large files both on my phone's internal memory and the sd card named "system data". It does not appear to be actual system data however because the app allows me to view some system data files. The ones mentioned however is shown in the same green shading as free space so I can't delete or open it. Thanks though.

Ok, try using your file manager app and look at the /Android/obb directory. Any big leftover obb files from Asphalt 8 there?

Nope, nothing there. Just one file related to a guitar tuning app I still use.

What's the exact model name of the phone? "Galaxy Prime" doesn't sound like the full name -- there should be a letter and number somewhere, unless it's the Core Prime.
