Android Central Question

A couple of days ago my battery was dead, so I charged it. It reached 100%/fully charged and i went to turn on my phone. It did not turn on. Just gave a black screen.

Now no notification lights come on.

I've tried 3 different chargers (2 normal and one wireless). When I use the wireless one the phone gets slightly warm.

Ive tried many combinations of button presses to soft reset and battery pull.

None of them work.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

I made an account so I could reply (I'm the one who made the post).

Holding the power button was the first thing I tried when it wouldnt turn on the other day, i held it for 1 min straight. Nothing happened.

The battery might have actually failed then. I wouldn't necessarily trust the 100% reading while the phone is off. Bring it to a repair shop.

Just thought Id let others know, if theyre having the same issue...

Ive opted to try to fix it myself. Its much cheaper than sending it in.

I've ordered a tool kit and a new battery, I'll be sure to update if it works!

Before ordering the battery, you should have checked the one in it. If it's charged, you'd save the cost of the battery.

Try plugging the charger in again and leaving it for about 4 hours, then try to turn it on - just in case the calibration is off, and it's telling you 100% when it's really 1% (at which point, it won't turn on).
