I am having the same issues in that people can only hear me if i have my phone on loud speaker

I checked out the hearing aid setting but mine is already off.
I have a pixel 2
and then sometimes the screen goes black and I can not get to the loud speaker button . I have to stop the call and try and restart the phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it work after a reboot, or in Safe Mode? https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/2852139?hl=en. If not, then the primary mic opening at the bottom of the phone is blocked (by a case or clogged by debris), or the mic itself is faulty. If the mic opening is clear, then contact Google if the phone is still under warranty. Otherwise, bring it to a repair shop.
