Why did my cellphone called a number in my contact but i dont have load and it called automatically

I was about to sleep with my mother and my mothers phone starts ringing the name in the phine call is my name but my phone is charging and far away frome me.We checked my mom and aunts phone and it had missed call at the same time but remembered i dont have load

Welcome to Android Central! Possibly a spoofed call from a spam robocaller. Open your Phone app and look at the Call History. Is there a record of an outgoing call to your mother's phone at that time?
