How can we send a video thru SMS via Android to iPhone with a thumbnail on the receiver's end?

You can't control the receiver's end behavior. If the iPhone Messages app doesn't show the thumbnail for received videos via MMS (not iMessage), then that's on their app. Most messaging apps are showing thumbnails for video links, so maybe that app does the same (don't know, haven't used an iPhone in a while). If that's the case, uploading the video and sharing the link to Photos or YouTube would do the trick.

PS: SMS can't do videos, just text. When you send a picture, audio, or video, the protocol used is MMS.

Welcome to Android Central! Also, MMS typically has about a 1 MB maximum file attachment size, so any video you send will be severely compressed.
