Why cant people hear me on my LG tribute

Welcome to Android Central! Turning up your phone's volume won't make the person you're calling hear you any better. Can they hear you if you turn on speakerphone, or use a wired or Bluetooth headset? If so, then your primary phone mic (at the bottom of the phone) is either blocked (perhaps by a poorly-fitting case, or by debris clogging the opening) or faulty.
