    I have a Galaxy J7 Star, and I am trying to figure out how to transfer the file to my computer. Any advice?

    Voicemail? There are no voicemail files - voicemail is kept on your provider's voicemail server. You'd have to find a phone call recorder that works on your phone (some are easy, but for a Samsung*, I recommend Call Recorder, then try each of the different methods until you find one that works), then transfer those files to your computer.

    *In some countries it's illegal to record phone calls, so Samsung tries to make it impossible.

    Check your features in the voicemail app.

    If your carrier is using current versions of the "Visual Voicemail" app, there are options to manually and automatically save the messages to the phone as sound files, which can then be copied or backed up to anywhere you like.
