Android Central Question

My Samsung Note 8 was factory reset (some how) and now i have no data on it. Is there any way to recover my data? (Memos, Notes, SMS, Photos that weren't in google photos, etc..

I have been scouring the internet with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately unless there was a previous back up (either physical or cloud), there's no way to recover data off a factory-reset phone. You can try (paid) services that attempt to do a low-level recovery but not only are these usually expensive, they're also not guaranteed and seldom recover all of the files.

Thanks @SpookDroid - Not what I wanted to hear but what i thought would be the answer. I thought there was a back up but it's a knox configured phone via my company as well. Treated as a BYOD device though, no policies being pushed. Thoughts on Rooting the phone and using a recovery piece of software?
