Huawei p20 Usb Jack

Hi there I just bought huawei p20 and my usb/jack is not working. When Im connecting is not showing my headphones icon and I cannot listen my music. Anyone can help me

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using headphones with their own USB-C plug, or are you using a 3.5 mm-to-USB-C adapter? Do the headphones work on other devices? Does the phone charge normally with the charging cable? Does it communicate normally with your computer if you connect them via USB?
