All the apps in iPhone disappeared, how do I reappear it again?

[Android Central Question]

I was just using my iPhone and opened Messenger app. A while after, the Messenger app closes and all the app disappears (including settings, messenger, messages, even the notification center and control center). The messenger app still works but it just turned on when someone chats (not knowing who replied).

The only thing I can see in my iPhone right now is the home screen and the assistive touch only.

How do I fix this?

What’s wrong with the stock Messages app? That’s what I use, and I’ve never had trouble.
