Google apps (only) not updating.

[Android Central Question]

I wonder if anyone has run in to this problem. I have a Lenovo tablet running Android Marshmallow that will update every app except for Google ones. I get an unable to update message. The ones that I have sitting waiting right now are Google Calendar, Google Earth, Street View, YouTube, Google Drive etc. Like I said I have no problem updating any other app, it is only Google owned apps that will download but not update.

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps, select Google Play Store, tap Storage, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager -- you probably have to tap Menu>Show System to see it. Now try again.
