Any way to disable power on sounds?

My new unlocked S9 came preloaded with at&t apps and that annoying power on sound. Any way to disable that sound and can apps be safely removed. At&T is not my carrier.

Unfortunately not in stock options. You could root and modify the system sound to a null one, but that's about it. Not sure about the ATT version, but on the unlocked and TMo versions if you set your phone to silent/vibrate before powering it off, the power-on sound will respect that state when booting up.
