How can I restore the original photo dates to photos that have just been transferred to an SD card?

I recently transferred all my pictures to my SD card on my S9+ but now in the gallery the pictures aren't showing as the dates that I have taken them instead they're showing as the date I transferred them. Can someone please recommend to me an app that will change all the dates on these photos to the dates they were taken so they are in the correct order please.

Unfortunately the Gallery takes the 'modified' date and not the 'created' date. You could use an app to modify EXIF data (not sure which one, but pretty sure there has to be one out there), but not sure if that's able to change the 'last modified' date.

Exif data and "last modified" ate not the same. If Gallery is truely reading last modified to sort that setting can be changed back with any number of utilities.
