Why are all my games gone?

[Android Central Question]

So, I wanna download a new game, but I also wanted to clear up storage. It said to "clear up the storage you don't need". Then, I was like, wow! This is just what I need! So I went ahead and ticked all the boxes and th next thing that happened that the apps were still there. Ok, I said, they're still there... BOOM! The tablet just shut down and when I opened it, POOF! Apps are gone... Can you please help me? : ((

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Where did you see this option to clear up storage? Are you sure you didn't just tell it to uninstall those apps and games that you checked? Open the Play Store app and look for one of the apps that are missing -- does it say "Open" or "Install"?
