What can cause my samsung Tablet 10.1 to charge slowly and discharge quickly even when not in use?

Recently I have noticed that my Samsung tab 10.1 discharges quickly even when not in use. For example, at 89% battery life it was switched off (not shut down) and 5 hours later when turned on there was on a 13% charge remaining. Also I may put it to charge and 4 hours later it is not fully charged. It is to the cable because other devices charge quickly. What can I do. Is the battery dying? Can the battery be replaced?

Welcome to Android Central! That sounds like a dying battery. You'd have to bring the device to a repair shop to replace the battery (although if you're really handy, you could probably find many DIY videos on YouTube on how to replace it yourself).
