so for the last 6 months my phone has been slowly getting worse! My phone dies quickly and often shuts down at around 40% battery life but before it turns off completely it stops functioning. at about 60% battery life my 4g data and text messages stops working, i cannot make or receive calls, the signal disappears and i cannot connect to wifi. it is only fixed by putting my phone on charge and rebooting it. I have to carry a charger with me everywhere because of how often it does this and when i haven't brought one with me i have ended up stranded. I dont have the money for a new phone atm so can anyone help me!

Welcome to Android Central! I agree with belodion, that sounds like a dying battery. Fortunately, with your phone, you can easily find a replacement battery for pretty cheap. Just look for one on Amazon, eBay, or whatever online shopping site is popular in your area.
