Android Central Question
A month or so ago, my Droid Turbo would simply shut down, indicating the battery was dead, though when I restarted it, it would show that the battery was at 57%.
It has now started doing the same thing at various percentages, and today shut down when the battery showed to be at 73%.
I checked the battery usage and the total usage is currently at 14% between all running apps.
I have also tried several suggestions on how to reset/recalibrate the battery to no avail.
I am trying to figure out if it is just a battery issue and I need to have the battery replaced (which no one around me seems to do) or if there is another issue going on?
I realize this phone is 4 years old, but I truly love it, and can't find one I like well enough to replace it, and outside of this battery issue, I have no problems with it.
Any thoughts, hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
