    Keep getting messaged saying email sign in failed your password has been changed please enter new password. I haven't changed my password & am now unable to log in or receive updates. How can this be fixed? Thanks David.

    Welcome to Android Central! Do you know which email account the phone is prompting you for? Is it a Gmail account, or some other email provider? Do you know if it's the stock Email app that's giving you that notification? If you see the notification in the status bar, swipe down the notification panel and long-press the notification, then tap App Info to find out.

    You should have gotten an email that the password was changed - 24 hours before the change went into effect. That's the time you reply to that email, saying it wasn't you. (That kills the change.)

    If you didn't, you'll probably have to contact the email service (Google, Yahoo, whatever) and work it out with them. And you'll need a new password to change to.)
