Android Central Question

I received a notification today that I can download Android Oreo. But I don't have enough storage space. I've deleted all of my photos and gone through the Free Up Space option. I've also removed the SIM card and inserted it back in. Still have too much on my phone.

I'm at a loss. What more can I do to free up space for the download?

Have you tried clearing the cache? Also check how much data has been used by Google photos, this can be a lot. It's safe to delete Google photos data as the photos are saved by the Google servers and will be automatically downloaded when you open Google photos again, the data will be a lot less until you start viewing your photos, then it will slowly rebuild. Hopefully these measures will give you enough space to install Oreo.
