Why is my data exhausted within 2 hours without using?

I own vivo y51l
I have got jio sim in it .Daily 2GB data is being exhausted within 2-3 hours without any background usage or something. I an unable to understand whats wrong. Later on i recharged with a add-on pack of 1GB data and now its also gone. I have complained about this issue and they are saying that the data is being used .this type of problems doesn't occur.

Check to see what's using data. App updates? Version updates? (Updating the Android version is almost 2GB.) Use wifi whenever you can, and turn off mobile data unless you need it. (I have 2GB/month, because I don't use much - maybe as much as 100MB/month. But many GB on Wifi.)

If you open your settings and go to connections you should have a section for data usage, view that and you should know whats consuming data.

Welcome to Android Central! You're responding to a 4 year old question from someone who probably never registered, so it's doubtful that person will reply. But did you read the suggestions?

Turn on data saver, and uninstall any downloaded apps you don't use. And definitely uninstall the Facebook app... use Facebook through your browser instead. And make sure your Play Store settings are set to update your apps over wi-fi only. There's more you can do, but that's a good start
