Why is my infinix x510 not charging

[Android Central Question]

When I switched my phone on it will be saying charger voltage exceed recommended threshold please unplug charger with out plug in any charger and the battery will be at 100% and it won't discharge and it will also not charge and it switch off few moments when using it and won't power again until I boost the battery. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Offhand, I'd say the battery is failing. From what i can tell on the web, the battery is user-removable, so try a new or different battery.
