like did they check yr credit cuz i dont have any also some said they dont but that they do a soft credit check either way i dont have any credit :*( so what are my chances of gettin a new phone from them ?

i got it turn out if you been a customer to them for 5 plus years they dont check yr credit and u get a brand new expensive phone and also the calls and text are free all u pay is the data im trying them out so far so good but thats cuz i havent gotten the bill il update after the bill ok

To be honest - I'd find it unreasonable to NOT run a credit check when issuing a loan, no matter how small. Yes, you are effectively getting a loan in the amount of the phone value. The company needs to know if there's significant risk of you not repaying the loan. Being that you need to be a Spectrum subscriber, your track record of bill payment over the course of the 5 years is enough for them to justify the risk.
