I have the phone set for a time out after 10 minutes. However, duuring phone calls, the screen goes black after a few seconds and I have to hit the power button to reactivate or see the screen for dialing or input. How do I change this so the screen stays on throughout the call?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about speakerphone calls, or are you holding the phone up to your ear? If the latter, it should automatically go blank when you hold it up to your ear, and turn on again when you take it away from your ear. That doesn't happen?

If it happens when the phone isn't by your ear, is the phone in a case? That might be blocking the proximity detector. If it's not in a case, the proximity detector might be defective.
