    Unless you disabled it, the phone's default is to require the device to be unlocked (with your password/PIN) for things like Power off/Reboot, Airplane Mode, location, and WiFi to be turned on/off, so if someone steals your device, in theory they wouldn't be able to do that.

    If the phone runs out of power or is in an area where no GPS signal or data can be reached, however, the location you'd see is the last one that was reported.

    You can't because it's no longer connected to GPS. This is one reason it's important to have a secure lock screen.

    I'm hoping you are asking in a what if scenario and your phone hasn't already been stolen. If it's already gone, first thing is to report it to your carrier so the device id is blacklisted.
