In November my Galaxy note 2 died completely.
I had all my data including my calendar backed up on my google drive under a folder for my old N7100.

I now have a new galaxy note 4 and I cannot find out how to recover the calendar data from this backup.

I have a problem as according to Google, the back up will be deleted in 5 days unless the phone is reactivated!

I have spoken to samsung and they don't know how to do it!

If anyone can offer some help I would be grateful.

    Many thanks

Welcome to Android Central! How did you do the backup to your Google Drive? Was this done using Google's own backup function?

Were the events saved to your Google Calendar account, the Samsung account, or the local Phone account? The easy way to tell if they were saved to your Google Calendar account is to go to Google Calendar website on your computer and see if the events are there. (This is why I always recommend saving events and contacts to your Google account, and not the local Phone account, because the latter doesn't sync anywhere automatically.)
